Earth Mars Travel is the European ETE Office for emigration to Mars. It was founded in 2041 following the grand succes of the American ETE Office, American Space Travels. It has offices in three of the mayor capitals of Europe and in Lunapolis and Areopolis.

The future Martians have to participate in the European Selection Procedure, the award winning European colonist selection programme. When passed they get a clearence to leave Earth.

Officially EMT works under the flag of the ISA, the International Space Agency. In reality the ISA doesn't interfer in European business, so the ESA has it's own budget from the EU, paying for the spacecrafts like the EMTraveller and the Mars Shuttles. When concerning the whole Western world the ISA takes over, making the big decisions. The ESA and NASA follow the path pointed out by the ISA.
